If you're concerned about sensitive information or images appearing in Google's search results, you can easily remove them. Google has simplified the removal process.

If you're concerned about your personal information or images appearing on Google Search, a new tool is available. Google recently announced this tool, which will simplify the process of removing sensitive information from Google Search. Google says this tool will help users report objectionable content and control their information on search.

How to Remove Sensitive Information from Google Search

To remove sensitive information or images, go to the three-dot menu next to the search result. Then, select the 'Remove Result' option on the page that opens. Here, Google will ask you why you want the result removed. If you believe you're being shown an objectionable image or sensitive information, inform Google. Your request will be submitted. You can also track this request by going to the Results About You section. It's also worth noting that this update allows you to report multiple images in a single request. Previously, users had to submit separate requests for each link and image, but now this hassle has ended.

What happens after the request is approved?

Google has simplified this process and added new safeguards. Once your removal request is approved, you'll be able to enable a feature that will filter out all future results containing your name. This update was specifically released in response to the increasing misuse of AI-generated and deepfake content. This update has been rolled out in several countries, including India.

The government has tightened regulations.

The Indian government has tightened regulations in response to the growing prevalence of AI-generated and deepfake content on social media. Labeling such content is now mandatory. Users uploading AI-generated content must disclose this information. Furthermore, social media platforms will now have only three hours to remove objectionable content. The new regulations will come into effect on February 20th.
