However, thanks to AI technology, passengers can now ascertain—with 94% accuracy—the likelihood of their seat being confirmed at the very moment of booking. Previously, this predictive accuracy stood at a mere 53%. This will enable passengers to plan their journeys more effectively and, in instances where the chances of confirmation are low, explore alternative travel options in a timely manner.

**Major Benefits for Migrants and Seasonal Travelers**
During the wedding season and summer holidays, over 400,000 migrant travelers in the Marwar region utilize the railway network. Due to this massive surge in traffic, trains often end up with extensive waiting lists. The Railways' new AI model analyzes data spanning the last 40 years to identify specific routes and time slots where the probability of ticket confirmation is highest. Furthermore, the 'RailOne' app is further simplifying the travel experience for passengers, offering a comprehensive range of information—from unreserved and platform tickets to details regarding coach positions.

**Substantial Fare Subsidies and Modern Amenities**
In addition to enhancing passenger amenities, the Railways has also released details regarding the financial relief provided to travelers. During the financial year 2024-25, passengers received subsidies amounting to approximately ₹60,000 crore. According to official statistics, for a journey costing an average of ₹100, passengers are charged only ₹57, while the Railways itself bears the remaining 43% of the cost. Furthermore, passengers are now also being offered facilities such as the ability to order food while seated at their seats on the train, as well as easy refunds—features that will make the journey more comfortable for them.
