The company also launched a new version of its travel platform, which includes a smart AI assistant.

Every payment will now receive a 'golden' reward.
Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma said that P2P (person-to-person) and UPI payments made on Paytm have now become 'golden'. This means that every time a user sends money or makes a payment through the app, they will receive a reward in the form of gold points. These points can later be converted into digital gold.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma said, "Every payment on Paytm is now a way to earn gold. No other app offers rewards at this level." We've kept it very simple and clear, and there's no limit to how much gold you can earn.

Gold conversion will start at ₹15
The company stated that users will be able to convert their points into gold when their value reaches ₹15. This means that as users make payments or purchases, gold points will be added to their account, which can be redeemed later.

Paytm Senior Vice President Yugal Tiwari stated that for every ₹100 spent, users will earn one gold point. If payments are made with a RuPay card, the points will be doubled. 100 gold coins can be redeemed as digital gold worth ₹1.

The magic of AI has also appeared in the travel app.
Paytm has also completely revamped its travel platform. It has now added an AI assistant that will help travelers with ticket booking and travel planning through easy conversation. Users can search for destinations, get travel ideas, book flights, trains, buses, or metro tickets, and create a complete travel plan simply by speaking. The company says this new AI feature is in beta and will give users a smooth and smart travel experience, from planning to payment.
