Paytm: What you don't want to show will be hidden! How to use the 'Hide Payments' feature on Paytm..
One 97 Communications Limited released a new "Hide Payments" feature for the Paytm app. As the name suggests, it allows users to remove certain transactions from the primary view. The company stated that this feature helps manage shared devices, handle sensitive purchases, and discreetly view financial activity. The company claims that this feature has been created keeping in mind users' increasing privacy needs.
Paytm's new Hide Payments feature is a more private and personalized way to manage digital payments. Transactions marked as hidden are neither deleted nor modified; they are simply moved to a separate, secure section. Paytm states that all such transactions remain completely secure and accessible when needed.
Hidden transactions can be viewed in the Balance & History section of the Paytm app. The company claims that Paytm is the first UPI app to offer such a feature.
How to hide a transaction on Paytm?
Open the Paytm app and go to the Balance & History tab.
Swipe left on the transaction you want to hide.
