Now you can book Namo Bharat and train tickets with just one app; the process will be quick and easy with just one click..
NCRTC and IRCTC Ticketing System: To enhance passenger convenience in Delhi-NCR, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have jointly launched a new and simplified ticketing system. Under this new system, passengers will no longer need to book tickets on separate platforms. Now, passengers can easily plan and book tickets for both Namo Bharat trains and Indian Railways trains using a single app. This will save time and effort for millions of daily commuters in Delhi-NCR.
How to book tickets using a single app?
Passengers traveling on Namo Bharat trains can now book Indian Railways tickets directly by clicking on the IRCTC icon available on the Namo Bharat app. This eliminates the need for passengers to download separate apps or log in repeatedly. Conversely, those traveling to Delhi via IRCTC can easily book Namo Bharat tickets by viewing their booking details in the IRCTC Rail Connect app and clicking on the NCRTC icon. This system will prove extremely beneficial for daily commuters in Delhi-NCR.
Promoting Digital Transactions
This NCRTC-IRCTC ticketing system is expected to save passengers time and also promote digital transactions. Passengers will no longer need to book tickets at separate counters. The entire planning process can be completed on a single app, ensuring a hassle-free experience for passengers.
NCRTC and DMRC also have a similar ticketing system
A similar ticketing system already exists between NCRTC and DMRC, allowing people to easily book tickets through the DMRC and Namo Bharat Connect apps. With this system, passengers can easily purchase tickets for both Namo Bharat trains and the Delhi Metro using a single mobile app. This NCRTC-DMRC integration strengthens multi-modal connectivity in Delhi-NCR. This facility not only saves time but also provides passengers with a smart and digital travel experience.
