Nowadays, the Aadhaar card has become crucial for everything from government schemes to banking and other essential tasks. Any error in your Aadhaar card can stall your work. People often face issues regarding the address or mobile number listed on their Aadhaar. Sometimes, there is a mistake in the name itself—something people often overlook—but this can lead to delays in important tasks. Previously, correcting these errors required a visit to an Aadhaar Seva Kendra.

Upon arriving at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra, you often find hundreds of people waiting to make corrections, forcing you to stand in line. Standing in queues is particularly difficult for the elderly. However, you can now avoid this hassle by booking an appointment before visiting the center.

**Book an Online Appointment via the App**
You can schedule an appointment online through the app before visiting the Aadhaar Seva Kendra, thereby avoiding the need to stand in line. Using UIDAI’s official app, **mAadhaar**, you can select a convenient date and time for your appointment from the comfort of your home.

**How to Book an Appointment on mAadhaar**
First, open the mAadhaar app and log in using your PIN or fingerprint. Next, select the 'Services' tab. Then, tap on 'Book an Appointment' within the 'Other Services' section; you will be redirected to the UIDAI appointment portal. Enter your mobile number and email ID, and verify them using the OTP. Select the specific Aadhaar correction service you require. Choose the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra, then select your preferred date and time. Finally, review the details and submit the request. Once booked, you will receive an appointment slip, which you can take along with your documents to the Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
