Meta has finally rolled out paid subscription plans for its Indian users across all three platforms: WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. Introduced under the names Instagram Plus, WhatsApp Plus, and Facebook Plus, these plans offer users access to exclusive and advanced features—including customization options, analytics, and engagement tools. Instagram users will gain the ability to customize their profiles using new themes, fonts, and styles. On WhatsApp, users will get options for custom chat themes, animated stickers, and custom ringtones. Here are the details regarding these plans.

Meta has introduced the Instagram subscription plan—Instagram Plus—in India at ₹99 per month. Notably, the company is offering a 50% discount on this plan, valid for a period of six months.

WhatsApp Plus has been introduced at a price of ₹75 per month. A key highlight is that the company is offering WhatsApp Plus completely free for the first month.

Instagram Plus Features

The new Instagram Plus subscription gives users access to several new features. The list includes "Stories Preview," allowing you to see how your story looks before you post it. Additionally, you will get "Story Rewatch Insights," enabling you to see exactly who has re-watched your story. Furthermore, you will be able to search for specific individuals within the story viewer list. The paid subscription also provides access to custom fonts for your Instagram bio. Additionally, you will now be able to customize the Instagram app icon. You will also be able to send "Superhearts" on others' stories. A paid subscription will offer the option to extend the duration of stories. Furthermore, users will be able to pin up to six of their favorite posts to their Instagram stories; previously, this feature was limited to three posts. You will also be able to create custom audience lists for stories, whereas previously, you could only share stories separately with "Close Friends."

Regarding WhatsApp Plus's paid features, you will gain the ability to send exclusive stickers and customize the WhatsApp app icon. Moreover, the company is offering the option to change the theme of the app icon. You will also be able to upgrade your chat list and pin additional chats.

Facebook Plus Features

With the Facebook Plus paid subscription, you get a preview feature for your stories, including a "Story Rewatch" option. You can search for specific individuals within the list of story viewers, customize the app icon, send "Superhearts" on stories, and extend the duration of your Facebook stories beyond the standard limit.
