Meta has currently launched its ad-free subscription for Facebook and Instagram users in the UK. This ad-free plan may soon be rolled out to other countries. Android and iOS users will have to pay 3.99 (approximately ₹474) for the ad-free experience. Meta claims the additional cost is due to fees charged by Apple and Google.

If you use both Instagram and Facebook, a single subscription fee will not be sufficient. Meta will charge a lower fee for additional accounts, with each additional account charged at 2 GBP (approximately ₹237) or 3 GBP (approximately ₹356), depending on the platform (web or Android/iOS). So, if you have 5 different accounts on Facebook and Instagram combined, you may have to pay up to 15.99 GBP (approximately Rs 1900) every month.
