**Agreement Between NPCI and CIBIL**
NPCI has announced that its subsidiary, BHIM Services, has entered into a partnership with TransUnion CIBIL. Following this collaboration, users can now view their CIBIL score and credit report directly on the BHIM app. A key highlight is that no credit data will be accessed without the user's explicit consent, thereby ensuring that their privacy remains completely secure.

**New Feature Available in This Version**
The feature to check credit scores on the BHIM UPI app has been made available in version 4.0.19 and all subsequent versions. The objective of this update is to transform the app from being merely a payment tool into a comprehensive financial utility, enabling users to gain a better understanding of their financial standing.

**Biometric Authentication Also Introduced**
Before this, in the month of March, NPCI BHIM Services Ltd. introduced a biometric authentication facility within the app. Under this system, users can easily execute UPI transactions of up to ₹5,000 using fingerprint or facial recognition. This has made the payment process significantly more secure and faster than before.

India's indigenous UPI app, BHIM, is rapidly gaining popularity in both urban and rural areas. The app is available in over 15 Indian languages. **Update the App:** Ensure that you are using version 4.0.19 or a higher version of the BHIM app. Log In: Open the BHIM app and log in using your PIN.

Credit Score Section: Scroll down on the home screen and click on the 'Free CIBIL Score' or 'CIBIL Score' option.

Enter Details: Enter your PAN card number, first name, and last name (exactly as they appear on your PAN card).

Provide Consent: Accept the Terms and Conditions, and click on 'Proceed'.

View Score: Your CIBIL score and detailed report will be displayed on the screen.
