What changes with Lockdown Mode?

Live web browsing will be limited to cached content, meaning the latest information may not always be available. "Deep Research" and "Agent Mode" will be completely disabled. Code generated within "Canvas" will lose internet access, and the ability to download external files will be disabled. Additionally, integrated agent experiences—such as those for finance and shopping—will no longer be available. ChatGPT will stop displaying images in standard responses, and the image generation feature will be disabled. However, settings related to memory, file uploads, chat sharing, and model training will remain unaffected.

How to Activate Lockdown Mode
