Jio's new offer for those who only make calls, get calling without data...

Even today, many people do not require internet data on their mobile phones. They use their phones solely for calling, yet they are often forced to purchase recharge plans that include data. To provide relief to such users—and in accordance with TRAI’s directives—Reliance Jio has introduced 'Voice Only' recharge plans. These plans start at just ₹147. They offer unlimited calling, and there is no need to pay extra for data. Let’s take a look at the pricing and validity of these Jio plans.
These new plans are designed for those who do not need internet data and only require calling services. While they offer unlimited voice calling, they provide no data whatsoever.

The most affordable plan is priced at ₹147, offering 22 days of validity along with the benefit of unlimited calling.

Additionally, there is a ₹177 plan that comes with 28 days of validity.

The ₹196 plan offers 30 days of validity. Notably, the ₹197 plan provides validity for an entire calendar month—meaning the validity period aligns with the dates of the month.

All these plans are strictly for voice calling; they do not include any mobile data. These plans can be highly beneficial for users who utilize feature phones or keep a SIM card exclusively for voice communication. They are more cost-effective than data-inclusive plans, as you do not have to pay for data you do not need.

These 'Voice Only' plans from Jio are more affordable than those offered by Airtel and Vodafone Idea. TRAI had instructed all telecom operators to introduce such plans to provide relief to customers whose primary requirement is calling. In compliance with this directive, Jio has rolled out these options.

If you do not use the internet daily and primarily use your phone for calls, these plans are an excellent choice. Please keep in mind when recharging that these plans do not include any data. You can choose a validity period based on your needs. You might want to start with a plan that has a shorter validity period.

These plans are available on the Jio website under the 'TRAI Mandated Packs' category, where you can easily recharge them. For those who only need calling services, Jio offers an affordable and convenient option.
