When it comes to telecom plans, most of the discussion revolves around prepaid users. However, postpaid plans today also offer a variety of offers that offer better value and premium benefits. India's top three telecom companies—Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vodafone Idea (Vi)—all offer different ranges of postpaid plans for users. If you're looking for an affordable yet value-packed plan, let's see which one is best for you between Jio, Airtel, and Vi.

This comparison isn't easy, as companies now offer not just calls and SMS, but also data and OTT benefits. So, let's see which postpaid plan might be best for you.

Airtel's Rs. 449 plan

Airtel's cheapest postpaid plan is priced at Rs. 449 per month. This plan offers unlimited voice calls on local, STD, and roaming networks, along with 100 SMS per day. Speaking of data, Airtel offers 50GB of 5G data per month with this plan, and if you don't use all of it, the remaining data rolls over to the next billing cycle. This is a nice bonus.

For entertainment, Airtel offers an Xtreme Play Premium subscription with this plan, allowing you to watch movies, web series, and live sports on Android, iOS, and the web. Additionally, Google One (100GB) cloud storage, Perplexity Pro access, and Hello Tunes are also free.

Jio's ₹349 plan

Jio's cheapest postpaid plan comes at ₹349 per billing cycle. It offers unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and 30GB of True 5G data. Once the data is exhausted, a ₹10/GB charge is applied. However, in areas with Jio's True 5G coverage, you get unlimited data.

This plan includes free JioTV, JioAiCloud, and a three-month JioHotstar subscription. Additionally, there's an exclusive offer for users aged 18 to 25: they'll receive a free Google Gemini Pro plan for 18 months, worth ₹35,100.

Vi's ₹451 plan

Vi's most affordable postpaid plan is priced at ₹451 per month, called the Vi Max plan. This is the most expensive plan on the list. It also offers unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. This plan offers 50GB of data, along with unlimited night data from 12 AM to 6 AM. Like Jio, it also offers unlimited 5G access.

Apart from this, Vi offers some special entertainment options. Users have the freedom to choose one of the following benefits:

Vi Movies & TV: Free access to apps like Zee5, SonyLiv, and JioHotstar for three months.
JioHotstar: One-year mobile-only plan.
SonyLiv: One-year mobile-only plan.
Norton: One-year mobile security coverage.

Of these three, Vi offers the most value-added benefits, but its price is slightly higher. Jio's plan is the cheapest and especially beneficial for users under 25. Airtel's plan balances the two: good data, premium OTT subscriptions, and cloud storage all in one.

So, if you're looking for a value-for-money postpaid plan for your smartphone, you can choose from these three according to your needs.
