India is once again set to showcase its prowess in the digital world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India Mobile Congress 2025 (IMC 2025) on Wednesday (October 8) at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center in Dwarka, Delhi. This event is considered Asia's largest technology and innovation forum, showcasing India's technological advancements and digital leadership to the world.
This year's event will attract over 150,000 visitors and 7,000 delegates from over 150 countries. This grand event aims to establish India as a global technology hub. IMC 2025 is being held from October 8 to 11 at the Yashobhoomi International Convention Center in Dwarka, Delhi.
Scindia reviews preparations
Ahead of the event, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia visited Yashobhoomi on Monday to review the preparations. He said that IMC 2025 will usher in a new era of connectivity in India, where technologies like 5G, AI, machine learning, IoT, and satellite communications will connect the world on a single platform.
Scindia said, "It would not be wrong to say that India Mobile Congress has now moved forward to become not just India's Mobile Congress, but Asia's Mobile Congress."
Competition for Investments Worth ₹88 Crore
This year, IMC will host six major global summits focusing on different areas of digital innovation. These include the India 6G Symposium, AI Summit, Cyber Security Conference, Satcom Summit, IMC Aspire Program, and the Indian version of the Global Startup World Cup.
In the Startup World Cup, 15 finalists will compete for investment opportunities worth up to ₹88 crore. This platform will provide young innovators with the opportunity to present their ideas globally.
