Images of Samsung's foldable phones surface ahead of launch; find out everything, from features to details..
With just a week left until Samsung's mega event, 'Galaxy Unpacked,' almost everything about the company's upcoming foldable lineup has been revealed. Reports indicate that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 at the event. Official marketing images showing all three devices together have surfaced ahead of the launch.
Furthermore, Samsung has shared details about a new display technology called 'Flex Titanium.' Meanwhile, another report suggests the company might discontinue one of its most popular pre-order benefits this year. Let’s first take a look at the foldable devices...
**Foldable phones seen in two new colors**
Images shared by *Android Headlines* confirm two color options created exclusively for the Samsung Store. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 appears in a 'Pistachio' finish—resembling a light blue-gray shade—while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is shown in 'Mint,' a light green color. These two variants are expected to be sold solely through Samsung's own online store.
**What will the design be like?**
In terms of design, the Z Fold 8 Ultra retains the familiar book-style form factor characteristic of Samsung's foldables. However, the standard Z Fold 8 might be significantly shorter and wider this time around—a departure from the tall, narrow profile that has defined the series for years. The design of the Z Flip 8 does not differ much from last year's clamshell model.
**Powerful processor and large battery**
The Z Fold 8 is expected to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 'for Galaxy' chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM. Storage options are likely to range from 256GB up to 1TB. While the battery capacity might increase to 4,800mAh, the charging speed is expected to remain at 25W this time as well.
