PNG Self-Billing: The ongoing tension in the Middle East has had a noticeable impact on India as well. Reports of LPG cylinder shortages have emerged from various parts of the country. Consequently, people have started switching from LPG to PNG connections. Furthermore, the Central Government has decided that in areas where a PNG network is already established, obtaining a connection is mandatory for residents. In this context, if you have also switched to a PNG connection, you must be aware of the 'Self Billing' feature. With the help of this feature, you can generate your gas bill right from the comfort of your home.

What is the Self Billing Facility?
The PNG self-billing facility is designed for individuals who feel that their bill is unusually high or who are experiencing other billing-related issues. This feature allows you to take your PNG meter reading yourself and generate your bill based on that reading. This significantly minimizes the possibility of any discrepancies or errors.

The Complete Step-by-Step Process for Self-Billing
To utilize the self-billing feature, you must log in to your PNG gas provider's mobile application.
Navigate to the 'Self Billing' tab located on the app's home page.
Next, enter your Customer ID.
Now, carefully enter your current meter reading into the app.
Then, take a clear photograph of your meter reading and upload it to the app.
Once you have entered all the required information, click on 'Submit'.

When Will the Bill Be Generated?
After completing the entire self-billing process via the app, your bill will be generated within the next 24 to 48 hours. This bill is calculated based on the meter reading you entered during the self-billing process. Once the bill has been generated, you may pay it by the designated due date.
