Aadhaar Card Update Process: We require an Aadhaar card for every task, whether big or small. Today, obtaining even school admission becomes difficult without it. It contains various details about the user. If this information is incorrect or outdated, difficulties may arise when attempting to use the card.

Therefore, ensure that your Aadhaar, PAN, and even your Ration Card contain up-to-date information. Roshan Deuba, a user of *Jagran Business*, recently inquired about how to change one's Date of Birth (DoB) on an Aadhaar card; so, let's find out how you can go about updating your DoB in Aadhaar.

How to Change Your DoB in Aadhaar?
Please note that, as of now, there is no facility available that allows you to make direct changes to your Aadhaar card entirely online. However, you can download the necessary form online. Let's take a look at the process involved:

Step 1: First, you must visit the official website of the UIDAI.

Step 2: Log in to the website and download the 'Aadhaar Enrolment and Update Form'.

Step 3: You must take this form and visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra (Aadhaar Service Center).

Step 4: Now, you will need to fill out the form, providing the requested details as well as your updated Date of Birth.

Step 5: Along with filling in the requested details, you must also submit the necessary supporting documents. These documents must include valid proof of your Date of Birth.

Step 6: An official will scan copies of your documents. You will be required to pay a fee of ₹75 for this entire process.

How Many Times Can You Change Your Date of Birth?
There is no strict limit on the number of times you can update your Name and Date of Birth (DoB) in Aadhaar. However, if your name has already been updated twice, or your Date of Birth has been updated once, the process for updating the name or date of birth in such instances is subject to rigorous scrutiny. To govern this, a 'Standard Operating Procedure' (SOP) has been issued by the UIDAI, and this information is available for public access on the official UIDAI website.
