Google has launched a new platform called 'Stitch,' which could completely transform the way apps and websites are designed. It is an AI-based tool where users do not need to manually draw layouts to create designs. Now, you simply need to specify what you wish to build, and the AI will automatically generate the complete design for you.

**The New Trend of 'Vibe Designing'**
Google refers to this new technology as 'Vibe Designing.' This means that designers now only need to articulate the desired "vibe" or feel of the app, the intended user experience, and its core objective. Subsequently, Stitch generates the entire UI (User Interface) based on that input. While creating a design previously took hours or even days, the same task can now be accomplished in just a few minutes. This will also prove beneficial for individuals who lack extensive experience in design.

How Does Stitch Work?
The new version of Stitch features an 'infinite canvas' where you can work simultaneously on text, images, code, and UI elements—all within a single workspace. You simply need to type or speak your design requirements—such as "Create a shopping app" or "Show me the screen in dark mode"—and the AI will instantly generate the corresponding design. The platform also incorporates a specialized AI agent that comprehends the entire project context and offers suggestions for new ideas, modifications, or alternative design options whenever needed.

Control Designs Using Your Voice
A standout feature of Stitch is the inclusion of voice control capabilities. This means you can now modify and manipulate your designs simply by speaking your commands. For instance, you can say, "Show three menu options" or "Switch this screen to dark mode," and the change will appear instantly. This feature transforms it into a smart assistant that collaborates with you—much like a teammate.

Google's Stitch isn't limited to design alone; it also incorporates tools such as an MCP server, an SDK, and AI Studio. This streamlines the workflow for developers, as they no longer need to spend excessive time writing separate code. Furthermore, it introduces a new format called DESIGN.md, which allows you to save your design rules and reuse them across other projects.

Currently, Stitch is available through Google Labs, where users can test it out. No specific pricing has been announced yet, as it is currently being offered as an experimental tool.
