Thousands of users in India faced difficulties accessing Google Search; while some reported receiving error messages, others cited issues with blank pages and search results failing to load properly. According to the outage-tracking platform Downdetector, there was a sudden surge in complaints a short while ago, with over 3,300 reports filed. The majority of complaints were related to Google Search, although many users also reported problems with page loading and accessing the website itself.

As soon as the glitch at Google began, users flocked to platforms like X and Reddit to check if they were the only ones experiencing the issue, only to discover that thousands of others were struggling with the exact same problem at that very moment. When Google crashes, people suddenly realize just how massive a portion of the internet actually relies on Google functioning correctly. For many users, the disruption was temporary, although the surge in outage complaints continued unabated.

According to Downdetector data, 57 percent of users encountered issues specifically related to Google Search. 28 percent of users complained that pages were failing to load, while 11 percent faced difficulties related to accessing the website itself. As of now, Google has not disclosed the underlying cause of this outage, though details regarding the matter are expected to emerge soon.
