Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and Google have announced a strategic partnership, under which the two companies will jointly expand the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in India. The key feature of this partnership is that Jio users will receive free access to the Google AI Pro plan for 18 months. This offer is valued at approximately ₹35,100 per user. Users will receive increased limits on image and video capture with Google Gemini 2.5 Pro, the latest Nano Banana, and Vio 3.1 models. Premium services such as increased access to Notebook LM for study and research, and 2TB cloud storage are also included in the offer.

For the time being, Jio users aged 18 to 25 will be able to avail themselves of the facility.
Initially, this facility will be open to Jio users aged 18 to 25, but later, all Jio users will have access to it. The company will only provide this AI feature to Jio customers with 5G Unlimited plans. This feature is being offered to Jio customers by Reliance's subsidiary, Reliance Intelligence Limited, and Google. It aims to connect every Indian consumer, organization, and developer with AI.

The partnership is in line with Reliance's 'AI for All' vision. Mukesh D. Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, said, "We aim to make AI services accessible to 1.45 billion Indians.
