Digital Marriage Certificate Process: How to Obtain a Marriage Certificate Using an Aadhaar Card
To obtain a marriage certificate using your Aadhaar card, you must follow these simple steps:
First, visit your state's official website. For instance, if you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP), you would visit igrsup.gov.in; if you reside in Delhi, you would use the edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in the portal.
Next, create a new User ID. Once logged in, select the 'Marriage Registration' option.
Then, click on 'New Application' to initiate the application process.
While filling out the form, ensure that you enter your Aadhaar number and complete the verification process via an OTP (One-Time Password). This will automatically populate your personal details in the form.
