The simplest way to find out your mobile number is to call a trusted friend or family member. Your mobile number will appear on their phone screen when you call.

How to Check Your Number on an Android Phone or iPhone

If you do not remember the number of a trusted friend or family member, you can find your mobile number by checking your phone's settings.

If you have an iPhone:

First, open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Go to the 'Mobile Service' option.
Your mobile number will be displayed under 'My Number'.
If you have an Android phone:

First, open the Settings app on your phone.
Tap on the 'Network & internet' option.
Go to the 'SIMs' option.
Here, you will see all the SIMs and eSIMs installed on your phone. There will be a separate toggle for each SIM or eSIM, allowing you to turn them on or off.
Another Way to Check Your Number on an Android Phone

Additionally, here is another easy method to check your mobile number on an Android phone:

Open the Settings app on your Android phone. Scroll down a bit and go to the 'About phone' option.
Here, you can find information about the SIM or eSIM number saved on your phone.
If your mobile operator's app is already installed on your phone, you can check your number there as well. However, this might be slightly inconvenient, as you usually need to know your number to log in to the app.

If you cannot find the SIM number on your phone, you can also find it using your mobile operator's services. You do not need a separate app for this.

For Jio users

Open the Phone app from your phone's home screen.
Tap on the Keypad from the menu at the bottom.
Dial 1299 and press the call button.
The call will disconnect automatically.
You will then receive an SMS containing your mobile number and plan details.
Alternatively, you can call 199 and follow the IVR instructions to check your number.

For Airtel users

Open the Phone app on your phone.
Select the Keypad from the menu at the bottom.
Dial *282# and press the call button.
A pop-up message displaying your mobile number will appear on the screen.
You can also call 121 and follow the IVR instructions to find your number.

For Vi users

Open the Phone app on your phone.
Tap on the Keypad from the menu at the bottom.
Dial *199# and press the call button.
A pop-up message displaying your mobile number will appear on the screen.
Alternatively, you can call 199 or 198 and follow the IVR instructions to check your number.

For BSNL users:

First, open the Phone app from your phone's home screen.
Tap on the 'Keypad' option in the menu at the bottom.
Now, dial *222# and press the call button.
A pop-up message displaying your mobile number will then appear on the screen.
