Using the 'Anna Sahayata' WhatsApp chatbot is very simple. Follow the steps below to register your complaint:
First, save the central government's official helpline number, 9868200445, on your smartphone.
Open WhatsApp and send a message saying "Hi" or "Namaste" to this number.
The chatbot will offer you language options such as Hindi, English, Bengali, etc. Select the language that suits you best.
Enter your ration card number and the last four digits of your Aadhaar card to verify your identity.
Select your issue from the list displayed on the screen—such as non-receipt of rations, underweight supplies, dealer misconduct, or the need for card corrections.
Type and send the full details of your complaint.
How to check the action taken on your complaint:
Once the complaint is submitted, you will receive a complaint registration number via WhatsApp. You can use this number to check the status of your complaint online at any time in the future.
