Why does Elon Musk want to build factories on the Moon?

Partnership with Nvidia to build AI data centers in space
Meanwhile, SpaceX has announced a new partnership with Nvidia. The two companies will collaborate to develop an orbital data center named "Starmind AI-1." This project will utilize Nvidia's new Rubin GPU and Vera CPU, bringing the satellite's computing capacity to 250 kilowatts. According to Musk, the launch of 'Starmind' satellites could begin next year, and SpaceX's AI infrastructure will be entirely based on Nvidia hardware.
