Claude Mythos in India: Anthropic's Claude Mythos—a model that has created a massive stir in the world of cybersecurity—is now poised to make its entry into India. Several organizations within India are set to receive access to it. In fact, the U.S.-based company Anthropic recently announced that it would extend access to this model to a wider range of organizations, governments, and cybersecurity agencies. It is worth noting that this model is considered extremely powerful, capable of hacking into any operating system or software in a matter of moments. For this very reason, it has not yet been released to the general public.

150 New Organizations to Gain Access to Claude Mythos

Anthropic stated that it is preparing to grant access to this model to approximately 150 new organizations. With this expansion, the total number of organizations with access will reach 200. Previously, the company was testing this model exclusively with a limited number of firms in the United States and the United Kingdom. It is currently being tested in collaboration with companies across various sectors, including financial services, cybersecurity, technology, healthcare, communications, power, water, and hardware.

Access Now Extended to These Countries

In addition to the U.S. and the UK, Anthropic has now granted access to its model to organizations in several other countries, including India, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, Japan, and South Korea. The company has not, however, disclosed specific details regarding which particular organizations within these countries will now be able to access this model.

Mythos Has Identified Thousands of Vulnerabilities in Critical Software

Anthropic recently revealed that, within a single month, Claude Mythos successfully identified over 10,000 cybersecurity-related vulnerabilities in some of the world's most critical software systems. Several companies that have had access to this model have stated that Mythos has accelerated the pace of vulnerability detection tenfold. Now, companies like Google and OpenAI have also introduced similar cybersecurity models.

A Model Similar to Mythos Is Set to Be Released to the Public

Claude has not yet launched Mythos to the general public. Anthropic has acknowledged that, as of now—including its own efforts—no company possesses a method to prevent the misuse of such models. Meanwhile, the company is preparing to roll out another model—similar to this one—to the public. Speculation suggests that it could be launched within the next few weeks.
