BSNL Selfcare App Update: If you are a BSNL user and find yourself constantly switching between different payment apps to complete transactions while recharging online, consider your troubles over. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a fantastic digital feature for its customers. Announcing this new feature in a social media post, the company asked: "Tired of switching between apps just to recharge your number? BSNL has just solved this problem."

Essentially, BSNL has introduced a new payment integration directly within its primary application. This gives users the freedom to complete recharge transactions directly within the BSNL Selfcare App itself, without needing to rely on any other external apps. The company states that the objective of this feature is to simplify mobile recharges and bill payments, thereby providing a superior user experience to its subscribers. The entire process is conducted securely and remains entirely within BSNL's own application ecosystem.

**Support for BHIM and UPI Lite**

BSNL's new platform is regarded as highly secure and technologically advanced. 'BSNL Pay' has been launched specifically in partnership with BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) and leverages the country's robust UPI infrastructure. Notably, several new features have been incorporated into the platform, including AutoPay support, UPI Lite, Recurring Recharge options, and a streamlined bill payment system.

**Advanced Features: AutoPay and UPI Lite**

Furthermore, BSNL's new platform aims to extend beyond mere payment processing. The operator has explicitly stated that the platform supports a range of advanced digital features, some of which are outlined below:

**Frequent Recharge Facility:** This feature proves highly beneficial for users who desire uninterrupted service without the hassle of manually recharging their accounts every month.

**AutoPay Support:** With this feature, customers can fully automate their recharge renewals or monthly bill payments directly within the app (via 'Auto-Mode'), ensuring that payments are processed automatically on their scheduled due dates. UPI Lite Support: To make small-value digital transactions superfast and hassle-free—without the need for a PIN—features such as UPI Lite support have been integrated. This ensures that payments do not fail, even in instances where bank servers are down.

Will this feature be available to all users immediately?
If you are a BSNL user, you can avail of this facility through the BSNL Selfcare App. BSNL has currently launched this feature and is expected to roll it out to a wider user base gradually.

This Facility is Not Available on Airtel, Jio, or Vi
Typically, when users attempt to recharge their Airtel, Jio, or Vodafone-Idea SIM cards, these apps redirect them to platforms like PhonePe, Google Pay, or other banking applications when it comes time to make the payment. However, BSNL Pay is now poised to change this process; going forward, the entire payment transaction will be completed directly within the Selfcare App itself.
