State-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) offers a 100 Mbps broadband plan that rivals—and arguably surpasses—the offerings of private telecom companies. While Jio and Airtel lead this segment, BSNL's plan remains highly attractive. A significant advantage is BSNL's widespread presence, covering almost every city in the country. The company is rapidly expanding into rural areas through the BharatNet project. Let’s take a closer look at BSNL’s 100 Mbps broadband plan.

BSNL’s 100 Mbps Broadband Plan with OTT Benefits
BSNL’s 100 Mbps broadband plan comes with OTT benefits and is a great deal at just ₹699 per month—a very affordable price point for a 100 Mbps plan in the country. Along with the 100 Mbps speed, users get 4,000GB (4TB) of data. In comparison, Jio and Airtel fiber connections typically have a data limit of 3.3TB; BSNL offers 4TB, providing an extra 700GB per month. Once the 4TB FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit is exhausted, the speed drops to 4 Mbps, though users can continue to use the broadband connection.

The plan also includes various OTT benefits. Consumers can choose between two different packs. The first pack offers access to JioHotstar, Hungama, Lionsgate, ShemarooMe, and EpicON, while the second pack includes ZEE5 and SonyLIV. Note that this is a monthly pack known as 'Fibre Basic Plus OTT'.

In addition to these benefits, users get unlimited voice calls to any network. These calls are made via a landline instrument, which users must purchase separately.
