All three apps offer the auto-pay feature. Money is automatically deducted for services like mobile recharges, OTT subscriptions, electricity and water bills, EMIs, or mutual fund SIPs. This saves users time and eliminates the worry of missing payments. However, sometimes this feature can also cause problems. It can make payments for services you don't want without asking you.

Often, you don't even realize which services you've set up auto-pay for. You only find out that you had set up auto-pay for a particular service after the money has been deducted. However, to address this problem, all three apps – PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm – offer the option to cancel auto-pay. You can also see which services you have set up auto-pay for. Two ways to stop auto-pay
For your information, there are two ways to stop automatic payments. You can cancel auto-pay for a service or subscription, or you can pause it for a certain period. Pausing will stop automatic payments for a specified time. Canceling will permanently revoke it, but you can reactivate it later if needed.

Canceling auto-pay from Paytm is very easy.
If you want to cancel auto-pay set up through Paytm, open the app and go to your profile.
Now scroll down and click on UPI settings.
Then you have to click on the Automatic Payments or Payment Management option.
Now select the payment you want to cancel.
After that, click on Cancel Automatic Payment and confirm.

Follow these steps for GPay.
For Google Pay, you will see the "You" tab on the right side as soon as you open the app. Click on it. Then scroll down and click on the AutoPay option.
Now you will see three sections: Live, Pending, and Complete. You need to go to the Live section.
After that, click on Cancel Auto Pay and enter your UPI PIN.

How to cancel Auto Pay from PhonePe
If you want to cancel Auto Pay through PhonePe, you first need to open the app on your device.
Then click on the profile icon at the top left.
Then scroll down and click on Manage Payments.
After that, you will find the AutoPay option under the More Options section. Click on it.
Here, in the Ongoing tab, you will see a list of all the active Auto Pay services.
Click on the service for which you want to cancel Auto Pay and complete the process.
Note that you will need to enter your UPI PIN to delete or cancel Auto Pay.
