Apple's unique gift: For the first time, the iPhone will say your name and greet you with a 'Hello' as soon as you turn it on..
Tech giant Apple never misses an opportunity to make its customers feel special. Now, with the launch of the highly anticipated iPhone Duo, the company is bringing another fantastic surprise. According to a recent report by renowned Bloomberg tech journalist Mark Gurman, customers purchasing the iPhone Duo from Apple stores in the US will receive a delightful personal surprise the moment they turn on the phone for the first time.
What is Apple's special surprise?
According to reports, when official sales of the iPhone Duo begin on October 23, the initial setup screen for some customers purchasing the device in-store will be customized to display their names. Mark Gurman revealed that Apple retail stores will utilize a special technique to customize the device's boot system. This will allow a lovely greeting—such as "Hello, Mark"—featuring the customer's name to appear on the screen when they switch on their new iPhone Duo for the first time.
Only these customers will get this special experience.
In his report, Gurman stated that this fun and personal feature will be exclusive to the iPhone Duo. Additionally, the customized greeting will initially support only English and Spanish. However, exact details regarding the technical implementation of this impressive feature have not yet been fully revealed. It is worth noting that Apple has officially announced this feature.
When do pre-bookings start?
If you are eagerly awaiting this device, pre-bookings for the iPhone Duo in India will begin on Friday, October 16, at 5:30 PM. Meanwhile, sales at Apple retail stores and the option to order via the online store will commence on October 23.
