There's great news for Aadhaar cardholders. UIDAI has added a new feature to the Aadhaar app, allowing users to update several details, including their mobile number and address linked to their Aadhaar, from the comfort of their homes. This facility will be available soon.

It's worth noting that UIDAI launched the new Aadhaar app just a month ago. This app allows users to store the Aadhaar details of up to 5 people on a single phone.

Information will be updated through 2-step verification
The new feature will allow users to update several details through a 2-step verification process. This includes updating mobile number, address, name, and email. No other documents will be required. The 2-step verification will include OTP and face authentication. Once this feature is implemented, there will be no need to visit Aadhaar centers to update your mobile number.

How to log in to the Aadhaar app:
First, users need to download the Aadhaar app.
Users will then need to log in by entering their Aadhaar number.
An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification.
A 6-digit login PIN will need to be set for future use.
