If you wish to use the 5.5G network in the future, your smartphone must be equipped with a modern processor that supports this technology. Currently, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and subsequent chipsets, as well as the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 series and newer processors, are considered 5.5G-ready.
This feature may activate automatically once a 5.5G network becomes available in your area. Therefore, if you wish to use it, set your phone's 'Preferred Network Type' to '5G (Auto)' so that the device can take advantage of the new technology as soon as the network is available.
