According to the 7th Pay Commission, a DSP initially earns a salary of approximately ₹56,100 per month, which increases to approximately ₹67,700 upon promotion to Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) and ₹78,800 upon promotion to Superintendent of Police (SP).
