The ongoing application process for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Grade B Recruitment will close today, September 30th. Interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied for the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2025 can apply on the official website, rbi.org.in. The RBI Grade B recruitment drive will be conducted for 120 vacant posts of officers in Grade 'B' (direct recruitment) in the General, DEPR (Department of Economic and Policy Research), and DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management) cadres.

Application Fee

General/OBC category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹850, and reserved category (SC/ST/Divyang) candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹100.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of September 1. Age relaxation will be available for reserved category candidates.

RBI Grade B Exam Date 2025

The RBI Grade B Phase I exam for the General cadre will be held on October 18 and Phase II on December 6. For DEPR and DSIM, Phase I will be held on October 19 and Phase II on December 7.

Selection Process

The selection process for this recruitment consists of three stages. The first stage exam consists of four subjects: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English. A total of 200 questions will be asked in the Stage 1 exam, carrying 200 marks. The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes. According to the scoring system, 1/4 of the marks for each question will be deducted as negative marking.

Those who pass the first stage will be eligible to appear for the second stage. The second stage will consist of three papers. Papers 1 and 3 are a mix of objective and descriptive papers, while Paper 2 is entirely descriptive. This stage is taken into account when preparing the final result.

The third stage is the interview. This is the final stage of the RBI Grade B selection process.
