The West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) has extended the last date to apply for Group C and D posts. Candidates who were unable to apply for Group C and D positions for any reason can now apply until December 12, 2025.  A total of 8478 candidates will be recruited through this process. Candidates can apply online for these positions through the official website www.westbengalssc.com.

Application Fee
The application fee is determined category-wise. General, OBC, and EWS candidates will have to pay ₹400 as the application fee for Group C and D posts, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates will have to pay ₹150.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these positions, candidates must have passed Class 8th, 10th, or equivalent from a recognized institution in India and meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The age of the candidates will be calculated as of January 1, 2025. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates will receive a five-year age relaxation, and OBC candidates will receive a three-year age relaxation.
