The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has opened the online application process for the positions of Assistant Manager and Junior Engineer. Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these positions, candidates must have a bachelor's degree or an MBA from a recognized institution in India. Additionally, candidates must possess a diploma and other required qualifications.
Candidates' age will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.
The minimum age for candidates is 18 years, and the maximum age is 32 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to the reserved category candidates. Salary Requirements
Candidates selected for these positions will be offered a salary ranging from ₹36,800 to ₹1,06,700 per month.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and an interview. In the written examination, candidates will be asked 85 multiple-choice questions worth 85 marks from subjects relevant to the position, including English, quantitative aptitude, and computer proficiency. Successful candidates will be invited for an interview. The interview will be conducted for a total of 15 marks. The exam will last 90 minutes. There will also be a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.
