The National Institute of Immunology (NII) has announced recruitment for two positions: Consultant and Young Professional. An official notification regarding this has been issued by the National Institute of Immunology. According to the notification, application forms can only be submitted via offline mode. The application process has already commenced, and the deadline to apply is April 9. Candidates eligible to apply for these positions are those holding a graduate or post-graduate degree—specifically a B.E., B.Tech., B.Pharm., PGD, or Ph.D.—in a discipline relevant to the specific post, obtained from a recognized institution or university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Additionally, relevant work experience is a mandatory requirement.

What is the Age Limit?
Candidates applying for the position of Consultant must not exceed the maximum age limit of 55 years. Conversely, for the position of Young Professional, the age limit has been set at a maximum of 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with applicable government rules.

What is the Selection Process?
Eligible candidates will be selected based on a direct interview followed by document verification. This implies that candidates will not be required to undergo any form of written examination. Furthermore, candidates selected for these positions will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹60,000 to ₹80,000.

To apply, candidates must first visit the official website of the NII. The homepage will feature a link to the official notification about the specific position. Click on this link. Subsequently, download the application form provided within the notification and take a printout of it. Fill in all the details requested in the form accurately. Additionally, attach all the requisite documents along with the completed form. Finally, place the form inside an envelope and dispatch it to the postal address specified below.

Please note that the application fee must be paid while filling out the application form. This payment is to be made exclusively via the online mode. General and OBC candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹200. Conversely, SC/ST and female candidates have been exempted from paying the registration fee.
