Application Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed High School (10th Grade) or an equivalent examination. Additionally, candidates are required to possess one of the following certificates:
A certificate for a Tube Well Mechanic course obtained from a Government ITI or a Government Technical Center in Gorakhpur.
OR, a course of at least 2 years' duration in the Machinist, Fitter, Wireman, or Turner trades from an ITI.
OR, a 3-year National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in these trades issued by the NCVT (Government of India).
For this recruitment, the minimum age limit for candidates has been set at 18 years, and the maximum age limit at 40 years. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and other reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with the rules of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
How will Selection be Conducted?
Candidates will be selected based on their scores in the PET-2025 examination. Candidates who have secured zero or negative marks will not be considered. Selected candidates will be required to appear for a Main Examination. The date for the examination will be announced later. The merit list for the 402 posts will be prepared based on the candidates' performance in the Main Examination.
What will be the Salary?
Selected candidates will be paid a salary in accordance with Pay Level-2 (as per the 7th Pay Commission). The pay scale will range from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200. Additionally, other allowances will be provided in accordance with government regulations. An application fee of ₹25 has been fixed for candidates belonging to all categories.
