UPSSSC Technical Assistant Recruitment 2026: There is great news for candidates preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. What are the Eligibility Criteria for UP Technical Assistant?
**Educational Qualification:** Candidates must possess a graduation degree in Agriculture—or an equivalent qualification—from a recognized university or institution. This includes degrees such as B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Horticulture), B.Sc. Forestry, B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering), or a four-year degree in B.Sc. (Home Science)/Community Science awarded by an Agricultural and Technological University. Additionally, the candidate must have appeared for the PET-2025 examination. Candidates will be called to appear for the Main Examination solely based on their normalized scores.
Age Limit: As of July 1, 2026, a candidate must have attained the age of 21 years but must not have exceeded 40 years of age. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit as per the applicable rules.
Technical Assistant Main Written Examination Pattern
