UPSSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started applications for 661 posts of Stenographer (Stenographer) under the control of 69 departments. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the commission's website (upsssc.gov.in). The last date for application and fee payment is 25 January 2025. The correction window will remain open till 1 February 2025.
Candidates should note that only those candidates can appeared in the Stenographer Main Examination who applied in the Preliminary Eligibility Examination 2023 and were issued a scorecard (valid numerical score) by the Commission.

Application Fee
All candidates will have to pay Rs 25 as an online processing fee. Candidates shortlisted for the main examination will later pay the main examination fee separately. After depositing the fee, the form can be sent finally. After this, a printout of this filled form can be taken out.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination from a recognized board. It is mandatory to have a minimum speed of 80 words per minute and 25 words per minute in Hindi Shorthand and Hindi Typing respectively. It is also necessary to pass the computer course and its equivalent recognized course. At the same time, the age of the applicant should be at least 18 and a maximum of 40 years.
Selection Process
There will be a written examination for selection. Those who pass it will have a shorthand and typing test. 15 times the category-wise candidates will be shortlisted as compared to the vacant posts and will get a chance to appear in the main examination.
