Age Limit
To apply, candidates must be at least 21 years of age, with an upper age limit set at 40 years. Additionally, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with the rules.

Examination Pattern
The examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks. These questions will cover subjects such as environmental awareness, analytical ability, and data interpretation, information regarding the Central Pollution Control Board and the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, and general knowledge related to the state of Uttar Pradesh. The duration of the examination is set at two hours. Furthermore, a negative marking scheme will be implemented, wherein one-fourth (1/4) of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
