Eligibility Criteria for Application
To participate in this recruitment process, candidates must have appeared for the UP PET (UP PET 2025) examination.
Candidates must possess a graduation degree in Agriculture from a recognized university/institution, or an equivalent degree in Agriculture—specifically, a B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. Horticulture/B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc. Forestry/B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), or a four-year degree in B.Sc. (Home Science)/Community Science awarded by an Agricultural and Technological University.
Regarding age criteria, candidates must have attained the age of 21 years as of July 1st, but must not have exceeded the age of 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with applicable rules.

A total of 2,759 appointments will be made through this recruitment drive. Category-wise, the vacancies are distributed as follows: 1,692 posts for the General category, 573 posts for the OBC category, 275 posts for the EWS category, 213 posts for the SC category, and 06 posts for the ST category.
