The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the official notification for the Veterinary Pharmacist Main Examination. Candidates interested in these positions will soon be able to apply via the official UPSSSC website. A total of 1,308 candidates will be selected through this recruitment drive. The online application process for these posts begins on September 14. Candidates can submit their applications until October 5, 2026. The deadline for making corrections to the application form is set for October 12, 2026.
**Eligibility Criteria**
To apply for the Veterinary Pharmacist Main Examination, candidates must possess a valid PET-2025 scorecard. Candidates must have passed the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations from a recognized institution in India.
Candidates must hold a diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy (duration of 2 to 3 months). Additionally, candidates must have knowledge of Hindi in the Devanagari script.
The minimum age for candidates is 18 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
**Registration Fee**
Candidates are required to pay a registration fee to apply. The registration fee is set at ₹25 for General, OBC, SC, and ST candidates.
**Main Examination Pattern**
The Main Examination will consist of 100 questions worth 100 marks, covering topics such as the anatomy of animals and poultry, introduction to animal husbandry management, animal breeds and economic traits, basics of animal nutrition and health, fundamentals of clinical pathology, basic principles of pharmacology, and basics of clinical veterinary medicine. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes. A negative marking scheme will be applied, with a deduction of one-fourth of a mark for every incorrect answer.
