There is good news for the candidates who have passed the PET 2023 exam in UP. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification for recruitment to 2702 posts of Junior Assistant. The application process for these posts will start on 23 December 2024 and will run till 22 January 2025. Application has to be done in online mode by visiting the official website of the commission upsssc.gov.in.

Out of the total posts, there are 1099 posts for the General category, 583 for SC, 64 for ST, 718 for OBC, and 238 posts for the EWS category. Candidates can apply for this recruitment on or before the last date prescribed as per the official notification issued.

UPSSSC Junior Assistant Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria: What is the qualification sought?

Candidates who have passed the 12th board examination and have passed the PET 2023 exam have a valid scorecard. He can apply for this recruitment. At the same time, the age of the applicants should be between 18 years to 40 years. Candidates of reserved category will also be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the government.

UPSSSC Junior Assistant Bharti 2024: How will the selection be done?

Applicants will be selected for the posts of Junior Assistant through written tests and typing tests. 100 multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam, including 30 questions on Hindi knowledge and writing ability, 15 on general intelligence test, 20 on general knowledge, 20 on computer and information technology, and 20 on UP general knowledge. All questions will be of 1 mark each and one-fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
