UPSSSC Cane Supervisor Recruitment 2026: 1,182 Vacancies Announced in UP, Check Application Dates and Eligibility
A major employment opportunity has opened for candidates preparing for government jobs in the agriculture sector in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially released the notification for Cane Supervisor Recruitment 2026.
Under Advertisement No. 13-Exam/2026, the commission has announced recruitment for a total of 1,182 Cane Supervisor posts across the state.
According to the notification:
- 1,000 posts are reserved for regular selection
- 182 posts are reserved under special selection categories

Application Dates for UPSSSC Cane Supervisor Recruitment 2026
The online application process will begin from:

Selection Will Be Based on PET 2025 Score
The recruitment process will be conducted on the basis of:
- PET 2025 score
- Main written examination
Only candidates who appeared in the UP PET 2025 examination and possess a valid PET scorecard will be eligible to apply.
The commission clarified that shortlisting for the main examination will be based on candidates’ normalized PET scores.
Educational Qualification
To apply for the Cane Supervisor posts, candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from a recognized university in India
- CCC Certificate (Course on Computer Concepts) issued by DOEACC/NIELIT
Both qualifications are mandatory for eligibility.
Age Limit
The prescribed age criteria are:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
The age will be calculated as on July 1, 2026.
Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Important Rule Regarding PET Scores
The commission has clearly stated that candidates whose:
- Absolute score
- Normalized score
in PET 2025 is zero, below zero, or negative will not be shortlisted for the main examination.
However, candidates whose results are currently marked as:
- Under Investigation (UI)
- Provisional
will be allowed to apply on a conditional basis.
Application Fee
One of the biggest reliefs for candidates is the extremely low application fee.
All categories of applicants will only need to pay:
- ₹25 online processing fee
No additional examination fee has been prescribed.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will be completed in three stages:
- Shortlisting based on PET 2025 score
- Main written examination
- Final merit list based on marks obtained in the main exam
The final selection will depend entirely on performance in the written examination.
