UPSC Recruitment 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released recruitment for many posts including Veterinary Officer, Scientist, Professor, and Lecturer, the application process for this has started. If you are also eligible for these recruitments, then you can apply through the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in. Keep in mind that the last date to apply is 15 May 2025. Under this, there are vacancies for a total of 40 posts.
Which posts are vacant
UPSC has vacancies for 6 posts of Scientist-B, 4 posts of Scientific Officer, one each of Professor and Lecturer, 3 posts of Technical Officer, 9 posts of Training Officer, and 16 posts of Senior Veterinary Officer.
Who can apply?
Different qualifications have been sought for all the posts. For Scientist-B, candidates should have a master's degree in Physics from a recognized university or institute. Apart from this, one year of experience in electrical storage in a recognized lab or institute should also be there. For other posts, some require a master's degree and some require an engineering degree. As far as the age limit is concerned, different age limits have been set for different posts. The maximum age limit for Scientist B should be 38 years. Similarly, for Scientific Officer, the age of general category candidates should be 30 years and the age limit of SC category candidates should be 35 years.
A fee of Rs 25 will be charged.
For the recruitments under UPSC, the application fee will be Rs 25, while
Female/SC/ST/benchmark disabled candidates will not have to pay any application fee. Application fee can be paid by depositing cash in any branch of SBI or by using the net banking facility of any bank.
How will the selection be done?
The selection for the vacancy in UPSC will be based on the interview. All the candidates will have to get passing marks in the category wise interview. It is necessary to get 50 marks in the interview for General/EWS, 45 marks for OBC and 40 marks for SC/ST/PwBD. The interview will be of total 100 marks.
