UPSC: Registration window opened for UPSC Nursing Officer DAF, CMS exam mark sheet also released..

UPSC ESIC Nursing Officer: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application for the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the post of Nursing Officer in Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). Eligible candidates can fill out their DAF application form through the official website (upsc.gov.in) till December 8, 2024. The recruitment examination was conducted on 7 August 2024 all over India. The commission has shortlisted 3321 candidates through the recruitment examination.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 1930 vacancies, including 892 for unreserved, 235 for Scheduled Caste, 164 for Scheduled Tribe, 446 for OBC, and 193 for EWS.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for these posts should have a B.Sc Nursing or [GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) + 1 year experience]

Unreserved and EWS candidates should be between 18 and 30 years of age as of August 1, 2024. The age limit for OBC is 33 years, while SC/ST candidates should not be more than 35 years of age and Divyangjan candidates should not be more than 40 years of age.

Application Fee
General/OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 25. At the same time, SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from the application fee.

The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination. The skill test is qualifying, which means that candidates have to pass it, but their marks will not affect their ranking in the merit list.

Combined Medical Services Examination marksheet released.
The commission has also released the marksheet of the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS 2024) on the official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates who have taken the exam can check their marks by visiting the official website. Earlier, the commission released the final result of UPSC CMS 2024 by compiling the marks of the written examination (Part 1) and personality test (Part 2) conducted from September to November 2024. In all, 165 persons have been selected for Category I, and 600 persons have been selected for Category II.
