UPSC Recruitment 2025: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for Assistant Director posts. A total of 45 posts will be filled in the Directorate of Income Tax (Systems), Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, through this recruitment process. The application process has started, and interested candidates can apply online till 14 August 2025 on the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

Who can apply?
Candidate must have a Master's degree, M.Tech., B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer Application, Computer Science, Engineering, or Electronics related subject from a recognized university.
Age Limit
The maximum age of the applicants for UPSC Assistant Director Recruitment 2025 has been fixed differently according to the category. The maximum age for General and EWS category candidates has been kept at 35 years. OBC category has been given a relaxation of 3 years in this, that is, the maximum age for them is fixed at 38 years. At the same time, candidates of the SC / ST category can apply up to 40 years. The maximum age limit for the PwBD (Divyang) category has been fixed at 45 years.
Pay Scale
The candidates selected under this recruitment will be given an attractive salary under the Level-10 Pay Matrix as per the 7th Pay Commission.
