Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC has released recruitment for many other posts including Senior Veterinary Officer, for which applications have been invited. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in. The application process for this has started and the last date for application has been fixed as 15 May 2025. Under this recruitment campaign, UPSC has set a target of filling a total of 40 posts.

What are the eligibility criteria?
Educational Qualification - Different educational qualifications have been sought for different posts. For Scientist B, one should have a master's degree in Physics from a recognized university or institute and one year of practical experience in testing/calibration and evaluation of electrical storage/materials/measuring instruments in a recognized lab or institute. Similarly, for other posts, some require a master's degree and some require an engineering degree.

Age limit - The age limit has been set differently for different posts. For Scientist-B, the age of OBC candidates should be 38 years, while for Scientific Officer, the age limit should be 30 years for the general category and 35 years for SC. Similarly, the age limit is different for other posts as well, which you can see in the official notification.
