UPSC Recruitment 2025: Recruitment for 462 posts in UPSC, even those aged 45 years can apply..

If you are between 30 to 45 years old and are looking for a government job, then this is a golden opportunity for you. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the recruitment process for 462 posts for experienced professionals across the country. This initiative is being taken to fill the vacant posts of Group A and Group B in the ministries and departments of the central government. You can participate in this application process which started from June 14 till July 3. Candidates with various educational qualifications are eligible to apply.

Who can apply

UPSC has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 462 posts. Graduation, post-graduation, BE, BTech, MBBS, DNB, MPhil, PhD, MS, MD, MCH, and DM degrees can apply for recruitment in these posts. The application process started on June 14. The last date for application is July 3.

How to apply
To apply, first, the candidates have to go to the official website of UPSCupsc.gov.in. After logging in to the website, one has to click on the one-time registration link appearing on the home page. On clicking this, an application form will open. In this application form, the candidates will have to enter their mobile number, mail ID, and other information. Also, the documents sought in the application form have to be uploaded.

After the registration process is completed, the option to deposit the fee will open in front of the candidate. Following this, the candidates will have to deposit the fee. After this, the option to submit the form will come. As soon as the candidate clicks on submit the form, the application process will be completed.

How will the selection be done?

UPSC will conduct a written examination for recruitment to these posts. Candidates applying first will have to appear in the written examination. After this, the candidates will be called for an interview. The final merit list of the candidates performing better in both will be prepared. Talking about the salary fixed for these posts, all these posts are of Level-8 Pay Matrix, under which the initial salary of the candidates selected for these posts will be Rs 47,600 per month. Other allowances will be separate.
