The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the online application process for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (1) and Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS 1) on December 10th, and will continue until the deadline of December 30th. Candidates preparing for these examinations can fill the application form online within the stipulated timeframe by visiting the UPSC's official website, upsconline.nic.in, or by using the direct link provided on this page.

Recruitment Details
According to the notification issued by the UPSC, this year, 394 posts will be filled through the NDA and NA 1 recruitment, and a total of 450 posts will be filled through the CDS recruitment.

Eligibility and Criteria
To apply for the Naval Defence Academy (NDA) posts, candidates must have passed 12th/Intermediate from a recognized board/institute. Additionally, to apply for Naval Academy (NA/10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) positions, candidates must have passed or are pursuing 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. The minimum age should not be less than 16.5 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 19 years.

Furthermore, to apply for UPSC CDS positions, candidates must have a bachelor's degree or an engineering degree from a recognized university/institute. For CDS positions, the age limit should be between 19 and 24/25 years, depending on the position. For more details, please refer to the notification.

Following this, complete the form by filling in the other details through login.

General, OBC, and EWS category candidates must submit a mandatory fee of ₹200 upon completing the form. SC, ST, and female candidates from all categories can apply for this recruitment free of charge.
