UPSC CGPDTM Examiner Jobs: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the CGPDTM Examiner Recruitment 2025. Through this recruitment, 100 posts of Trademark and Geographical Indications Examiner will be filled in the office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM).

Educational Qualification and Experience
The candidate must possess a degree in Law from a recognized university. They should also have at least two years of experience in handling court cases or other legal matters, or matters related to trademarks and geographical indications.

What will be the salary?
Candidates selected for this post will be paid a salary as per Pay Matrix Level-7 of the 7th Central Pay Commission. Regarding the age limit, the maximum age is 30 years for unreserved/EWS/Ex-servicemen candidates, 33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST, and 40 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) candidates.

This is a permanent post and falls under the Central Government's General Service (Group 'B'). After selection, candidates will have to complete a two-year probation period. The headquarters for this post will be New Delhi.

Qualifications for Deputy Director
For this post, the candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree from a recognized university or institution. The PhD can be in Humanities, Science, Commerce, Engineering/Technology, or subjects such as Law, Management, Finance, or Accounting. In addition, the candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in teaching, research, curriculum or study material development, examination reform, or work related to online examinations.

The candidate will receive a good salary as per Level 11 of the 7th Pay Commission. The maximum age limit is 43 years for OBC candidates and 45 years for SC candidates.

Candidates with a one-year diploma in Computer Applications and two years of experience in software-related work may be given preference. This qualification is not mandatory, but it may be advantageous during the selection process.
